The ride

All Along The Watchtowers is a collection of routes around Tilburg past lookout towers. There are five loops: three on gravel and two on the road.

The towers are in Tilburg, Hilvarenbeek and the area between Oisterwijk and Boxtel. You can climb them for the view. Every route is a closed loop, so you can start at any point. Not every route passes every tower: the Kempentoren is only on the road routes.

The names, towers and route lengths follow the public pages of Bezoek Oisterwijk and Bezoek Hilvarenbeek.

The five towers

  • De Kempentoren, Tilburg, Spoorpark
  • De Nieuwe Herdgang, Tilburg, Landschapspark Moerenburg-Koningshoeven
  • D'n Flaestoren, Hilvarenbeek, in the Flaes and Goorven area
  • Uitkijktoren Reuselhoeve, Moergestel, over the Moergestels Broek
  • Tour de Frans, Between Oisterwijk and Boxtel, on the Banisveld
