The ride

Tilburg is a good place to start a cycling trip. You arrive by train, and both loops start and end right by Tilburg Centraal.

There is gravel to the south and mountain bike terrain in the woods. There is also a lot to do when you are off the bike. That is why this trip has two parts: the ride, and the day in the city around it.

I rode both loops in September 2026. Pick the gravel loop if you want an easy day with wide paths. Pick the mountain bike loop if you want narrow trails and sand.
